  • Dr. Uy is amazing. I have major dental anxiety and have had many traumatic dental visits in the past. I needed a root canal on a tooth that had a crown on it from a prior tripping accident where I broke that tooth. She explained everything, answered every question and prescribed Xanax to take prior than the actual procedure. When discussing my anxiety she realized the water going down my through and the suction was a major cause and put a rubber barrier between my teeth and throat. This, plus her gentle calm manner made this experience as painless and calming as a root canal can be. Will never go to another dentist and will now be going on a more regular basis to do preventative maintenance to hopefully never need another root canal.
