  • I went to go see Chelsie ( I think I was misspelling it last time) for the second time tonight! She really is so friendly and so good at what she does! She is upfront about what would be best for my hair (preserving healthy hair but maintaining lasting color), but delivers it in a way that does not feel like pressure. **Side note: at the deli counter at Safeway the other day and asked for 2 lbs of shrimp. I could tell he didn't want to help me because he was in the middle of something else... so he suggests I get the bag of shrimp in the frozen section for the same price. When I politely said no thank you he glared at me as if to say, "you're loss, sucka!" A helpful tip is always welcomed, but its all about the delivery. To me, it felt like he just wanted what was best for him! OK Rant over and back to hair... It really is like hanging out with a friend and getting your hair done! Point being, she takes pride in giving you what you're looking for, talks about options, doesn't make you feel rushed, or foolish if you don't exactly know what you want or need yet, and just talks you through everything. Again, I am the "hair cut every 6 months, maybe" girl so twice in less than 3 months is astonishing! I left tonight feeling fresh and shiny for the new year!! GO SEE CHELSIE AT ULTA and you won't be disappointed :)
