  • I ordered laminate flooring from Express Flooring. Express Flooring was offering free installation, free furniture moving, free baseboard removal and reinstalling. . They also advertise next day service but before I even selected my flooring I was told not to expect next day installation as advertised. Therefore the only extras that I would be paying for is the padding and transition strips. The maximum square footage I will have covered is 1500 square feet. The design consultant said it was originally $12000 but I would get it at half price. It actually came to $6400. I asked him how much square footage he came up with and he said he didn't know, that the computer figures it for him. Then I asked him the thickness of the laminate I was going to order and he said "I don't know!" The sample looked good so I went ahead and ordered it. He is also charging me for Quarter Round which isn't needed if they remove the baseboards. As he was walking out the door he said, "This come up to about $1.00 to $1.16 per square foot. This comes nowhere close to $6400 dollars. They did not tell me that I had 3 days to cancel my order. I have made 4 calls to Express Flooring and each time I was told that someone would call me back and give me an itemized statement and tell me about the quality of the flooring. I waited at home each time waiting for the call and they did not call me back. It seems they have something to hide. My next step will be contacting the Attorney General.
