| - I absolutely HATE the gym... Like on joke. I'm the kind of person that has to have someone hold my hand at the gym, 'cause I feel like a lost puppy and don't know what to do. Well, that all changed the day I walked into Mountainside! I was happily greeted by the front desk staff and set up with one of the staff members and got signed up, mostly 'cause I wanted to do Zumba. The whole process was quick, painless and quite simple.
I was then set up for my free training session with Melanie (who is awesome, btw!), and after one 30-min session with her, I was hooked! I ended up signing up with a trainer as well -- and even though Melanie wasn't able to take me on as her client, she took extra good care of me (she probably takes extra good care of all clients, although I like to think I got the special treatment -- don't try to tell me otherwise, lol). Melanie set me up with the most amazing trainer, Sean! He's quite awesome and truly kicks my butt in 30mins (the time it takes to have a pizza delivered, lol).
I've been to other gyms in the past, which is probably why I hated the gym... But I have to say, I absolutely love Mountainside! They have classes you can take (most of them are included in the monthly membership), clean facilities, new equipment, and everyone that works there has been super nice and friendly (not intimidating like other gyms I've been at where they look at you like you're an idiot).
I also love the fact that I can go to any Mountainside location, which is nice so I can fit in a workout no matter where I am in the valley. Pretty darn awesome, if you ask me. Because of Mountainside, I may or may not becoming a gym rat.
