| - ok so I got a sweet Flat screen for $200. Though, it is wal mart. With Wal mart you have your usual barrage of backwoods scooter riders screaming at their 10 kids and incompetent staff who cant answer simple questions or even speak english ...
in the end, it's expected to be a crowd of the lowest possible standards but is it really worth saving a few bucks to be subjected to such horror? I'm Pretty sure I was being followed by a secret security douche with slicked back hair one time simply because I was walking fast as the result of trying to find my way around looking for a specific section because none of the stock employees know what i was asking them because it was in ENGLISH. You know ENGLISH ....... DO YOU SPEAK IT!? Not at wal mart ...
I was subjected to this strange and crude treatment just because I wanted to save a few bucks and take advantage of all those great rollback prices. (perhaps You need to train your employees better or hire some with basic competencies) but at what cost have we found ourselves in this bizarro world of slave labor and roll back prices inciting mass consumption of mostly health and environmentally hazardous products?
You just have to ask yourself.. is it at all really worth it? I mean have you been to peopleofwalmart.com? That's the real world folks. ... Wal Mart is at your own risk ...
Around every turn is a giant scooter lady screaming at her multi cultural gaggle of loud and un controllable children or an incomprehensible foreigner trying to scratch out a minimum wage living, working long grueling hours for meager wages so you can save $1 on that 24 pak soda, or buy sweatshop clothes for 50 cents.
Wal Mart Is great in theory but every time I've ever finished shopping at a Wal Mart my soul feels a deep heavy regret, wishing our world had turned out to be something greater and more majestic than this. But it's not. Here we are. Spandex, sweatpants and overweight scooter people abound, and when Wal Mart is the holy grail of showing off how far youve let yourself go, those rollback prices look even better ...
Now I can grab that 24 pack of Coke (56 grams of sugar each people diabetes, obesity, it's all in plain sight) but hey Ill drive my scooter to my car and roll in front of my TV when i get home as i crack open 5 cans of soda with a bag of cheese doodles and just sit.
Why am I just sitting you ask? Because I just bought an Adam Sandler movie for $5 in the overstock movie impulse buy bin on my way out. My point is ... Life is all just a compromise, and sometimes you need to compromise every value you have ever had just to save a buck, because thats capitalism my friends, and it's patriotic to temporarily risk your safety and well being so save 30cents on a roll of charmin.
