You really can't go wrong with Joe's except for choosing a time when everyone else is also at Joe's...which is pretty much always! It's a popular place so you must be prepared to wait in a line. The good news is that the line does keep moving and if you enjoy conversation with your party, you'll be at the front of it before you know it. When we visited yesterday, there was a friendly man (Joe's business partner's father) greeting guests as they made their way through the line. He was the king of small talk...greeting each new group as if they were the most interesting people he'd ever met. He answered all questions with a smile and grace and helped you forget that you'd been in the line 30 minutes or longer. Genius! The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The bus-staff does a great job of cleaning off tables and keeping them turned. The food is good and there's a nice variety of items to choose from. If I could make one suggestion it would be to add a non-spicy sausage to the menu.
