I couldn't help but feel underwhelmed after having read so many great reviews of this place. It was a hot day and I was expecting to see a little crowd since it seemed like a popular place. It was pretty quiet when we got there though, so I couldn't help but feel a little uneasy about that. And I must admit to being surprised that instead of seeing young Asian workers in uniform behind the counter (which I had in my head for some reason), a dressed-up non Asian couple who had their baby with them were working :p Btw we got to Snowflake earlier in the day when you think it would be cleaner, but the place looked like it could use a little cleaning up already.
The woman was friendly and explained the whole concept of the place to us. We sampled a couple of flavors and went with cookie butter with graham crackers and caramel. The texture was similar to regular ice cream and the overall taste was just ok. Maybe I would've liked it a little bit more if they had chopped up graham cracker pieces instead of big chunks of it. Also, we got just a drizzle of caramel sauce.
Some tips: If there are two of you who want the same flavor/toppings, you might want to share and go for the middle size (which I think was a large) to save some money. Portions there are very generous. Also, if you are expecting something icy, this isn't it. Just know that their product is on the creamy side, pretty much like ice cream.
