| - If i could give negative stars i would!! Worst place ever. We moved here cuz they had no dog breed restrictions. That's it. Their "gym" is a closet size room... no joke... with no AC.
The fridge broke and had a different one put in not long after moving in. When the maintenence men did that, one of them stole my iPod out of the kitchen console.
Living there Was ok for a while... if you can handle people staring at you from their balcony when your outside, people not picking up dog poo, oh!... and getting random letters from the office saying someone reported you for one thing or another and that the infraction is going to go onto your complex profile. They said a neighbor reported us for our dog barking one night.. our dog wasn't even home. He was in surgery at the vet...didn't matter, it's their word against ours. Not to mention, it's a dog complex, they will bark now and then.
There is a horrible roach/bug problem and the bug guy who sprays says I had one of the most cleanest apartments there. Turns out the bugs were infested in the walls of the building.
Our AC kept breaking down and we had on average $280 a month in NV energy bill. I'd call every couple weeks to have it fixed and they said this broke, that was leaking, this was loose. Every excuse. But still can't fix it right. And we were barley home to use anything.
The apt was dirty from before. Grease stained kitchen cabinets. Bathroom fan broken. Cracks in flooring in bathroom. Shitty plaster and paint job on walls. Dirty kitchen cupboards. Floor edging in kitchen was a joke. The boards were random 2x4 pieces just nailed in. They flopped around when ever I swept the floor bases.
They do provide air filters but you need to change them so often you'll need to buy your own. They limit what they give you for free per month. I'm OCD when it comes to cleaning and had to dust every other day due to how much dust and dirt accumulated from the horrible seals around doors and windows and the AC. Also, the maintenance men will report to the office anything going on in your apt. Weather the condition of it, or how many pets you have. Anything to charge you a fee to make more money. The office lady Joy and Carmen are rude!! Yansie is amazing and so nice. The only one.
We watched a friend's dog and a repair guy told the office we got a new dog and never paid the deposit for him so they sent letter to us that we broke lease agreement. We even had texts proving we was just house sitting, but that didn't change things.
Then we got evicted out of the blue. They said there was no reason, we just had to leave in 30 days. I called to ask another girl and she said it's cuz they wanted to remodel the apt. I don't care, you don't evict someone just cuz you want to update the place. You wait until they leave or let them stay in a temporary apt until the remodel is done. Other issues we had was:
-bathroom faucet plug broke
-Tub plug broke- couldn't take baths
-Toilet wobbles and bangs against wall when sitting or standing due to rotting floor
-Dishwasher back washes out of pipes when running and made dishes dirtier
-Kids play near cars and hit my car with their toys a few times.
