First time at Snooze AM. Four of us arrived at 10:30 on a Monday morning and we waited 20 mins (spring break).
Between us, we ordered Two Benny Duos, a Scramble, one order of Breakfast Tacos and three coffees plus an iced tea. It all came to $60 plus tip. Hopefully the food matched the price.
My Benny Duo was a Bela! Bela! Benedict plus a Chile Verde Benedict. The Bela was excellent: good balance of flavors, texture and spices. The bread was toasted just right, the hollandaise was rich and thick. The chile verde was good as well but I had just had pulled pork for dinner the night before so it didn't thrill.
The order came with a side of arugula drizzled with balsamic vinegar, which was a good foil to the thick sauces.
The other dishes got good responses from my family. The service was almost adequate but a bit hurried. Too bad. For a $60 breakfast I would like at least some attention.
I would recommend Snooze AM for brunch but try to avoid busy times.
