  • This review is long overdue but I am finally getting around to it. I love pie. Almost every kind of pie, I love. However, I'm kind of a pie/baked goods snob. My sister is a semi-professional baker and I have had some great pie in my lifetime. So, seeing as my sister lives over 2 hours away, I caved and cheated on her with The Pie Shack. And I have to say, I was impressed. Past experience with store bought or restaurant made pie is that the crust is dry, the filling bland and over cooked. So not the case here. I had the Strawberries and Cream pie and it was delish. The crust was tender yet flaky with little sugar sprinkles on it :) The filling was not too sweet and oh so creamy, melted in my mouth. I cannot comment on any of the other pies as my cheating guilt has prevented me from returning but I can only resist for so long.........
