rev:text	I've had our kid here at the serene and maryland location for almost the 3 years. I would agree with some of the previous 1 start reviews. They NEVER send sick kids home and as a result our kid ends up sick a lot and then of course we do. They do tend to have cycle through teachers regularly and end up with some young inexperienced teachers who don't belong there. They also seem to take liberties sometimes in giving our kids WAY too much candy and sugar before sending them home, i once watched on the camera as my kid ate two large adult size peices of cake once... that type of thing. My biggest pet peeve is i feel like for the money we pay they don't spend near enough time on lesson plans and teaching, and too much on sleeping and playing. It's definitely not a 1 star or horrific place like the others stated, they probably just got a real bad teacher that probably isn't there anymore. There are some amazing teachers there and the normal admin faculty has been good to work with. My child generally likes being there which is very important, the last place she was in was horrible and she hated going. I'm a very paranoid and over protective parent and i would say this is generally a safe decent place for pre-school and child care. If you find the perfect place please feel free to share
