| - Years ago, a co-worker recommend R&W for my A/C issues. They were great, technicians friendly, helpful, on time and reasonably priced. I even used their service contract but then it only saved me $5.00 so I quit that. But over the years, they have gotten much more expensive. For instance, what they performed several years ago, the exact same thing they had done before, all the sudden went up. I understand price increase but close to seventy dollars and the only thing that changed was they started using a hand held computer for the invoices. Ok, I get it, not happy about it but I get it. They were here 10-31-2016. They were kind enough to squeeze me in their schedule because I was without any A/C and the weather would just not cool down yet. Anyway, the bill was $612.00 with a $28.00 discount included. I was flabbergasted. Look the system is 13 years old again I get that-the diagnostic was reasonable $99, coolant, I understand cost is thru the roof now $354. But I was surprised that removing water from the overflow drain pan was $159. I had referred my sister to them as she was interested in getting their contract but after I spoke to her she cancelled the appointment. Don't get me wrong, I agreed to the costs but in the future, I will have to find someone else to help me because I am on a fixed income and so is my sister. We just can't afford these prices. If you can, they are a very good company.
