  • This is probably some of the best food that I have had in Pittsburgh. The Chef is definitely cooking up Cajun calssics the right way. We did a complete sample of the menu minue dessert. The cocktail I order was absolutely delicious. It was the horse and donkey and like the server said it was sweet and smokey. We indulged in a sample of the various oysters and they were so fresh. Definitely want to go back and try more. As for as our course order we ordered, a cup of gumbo. The gator and sausage was so tasty, the soup itself was very flavorful and was perfect with the rice. The fried green tomatoes and sauce was amazing. The tomatoes are slices were perfect and the sauce they serve it with was yummy. We split a whole fried fish which was snapper. The presentation alone was great. But the fish was fried to perfection and it was served over cheddar grits and greens. As a person who knows good grits and greens these were made to perfection. I would come back just to eat a bowl of greens. Overall muddy waters is doing a fantastic job. I recommend this place for any occasion.
