Rudy's is one of the most conflicting BBQ joints I have experienced. The food is not bad, but comparing the food to bigger joints such as Bobby-Q's and Lucille's, it really falls short on the BBQ deliciousness scale. However, given the atmosphere, speed, and level of service, Rudy's is top notch. If you're hunkering for some good BBQ, but don't want to sit in a restaurant waiting and waiting, Rudy's is a strong option to consider. It also helps that it's one of the best BBQ joints in the south-west valley.
