This was an extremely negative experience. I went there to see if i could get a refill on my antidepressant (Been taking this medication for 25 years). i ran out and My new Physician was not seeing me until Feb 14, 2018. i just wanted a 30 days supply to get me to the appt. When I went into the urgent care...I explained this to the girl at the front desk. I even brought the medication container that shows thst Banner Family Pharmacy had been filling the prescription. i am a Banner employee.
The girl told me to wait and she would talk to the Provider or Nurse Practioner. I waited and then the girl cam out and said the Nurse said no. I asked to speak with the Nurse Practioner, but she would not even come out to the desk to speak with me.
I am also a healthcare worker and would never treat anyone with this kind of disrespect. Even if she did not refill it and of course she could have called the Banner Pharmacy, she could have at least had the courtesy to talk to me and explain her reasoning.
But I will never go to this Banner Urgent Care on Indian School road in Goodyear, AZ. This makes me wonder what the reat of the Banner Urgent Care Facilities are like.
