| - M.C. bills itself as a resort but toss your expectations of plush out the window cause if you want any amenities you're gonna have to throw down some ducats for them.
Let's get to the good stuff first: the staff I interacted with were amicable. The house-keeping staff were mindful of guests sleeping in (that would be me), the luggage check desk couldn't be sweeter, and the taxi concierge did his job efficiently when I needed to get to the airport. The guy who teaches the craps lesson is more engaging than than many of the shows on the Strip. Craps is a pretty intimidating game, this is no easy feat.
MoCa has a token 24 hour cafe which I can totally recc if you're feeling breakfast foods. There are the obligatory omelets, but I'd steer you toward the carrot cake waffles and the dessert tray. Servers are not in a hurry: you've been warned.
Unless you join in the morning stampede to nab a poolside lounge chair you may end up having to shell out for a cabana. I circled the area three times before spying a spot and this was a weekday. All the pools were busy but navigable. Buy a tube at the nearby drugstore to avoid having to rent one from the resort (for the lazy river). You're in Vegas, which isn't know for it's peacefulness, so if you're staying here Thursday-Sunday a DJ starts spinning at noon. (I kinda liked it, even though it's all top 40s. I'd prefer that over listening to guests plan their nightclub itineraries while guzzling margaritas.)
Bad stuff: Gym use is an additional fee per day. Want to use wi-fi or the business center's computer? Expect to fork over some bones for that as well. The room was adequate but my comforter had several small tears in it. No directory of services in our room, we had to call front desk for every query. I avoided the food court but it would make for easy eating if you have a hungry mob of kids in tow. While it's a solid choice for snoozing after exploring the Strip, there are other places that offer more comforts and character.
FYI: Want a free work-out while staying here? Hit the stairs, just dress appropriately, you're gonna sweat.
