  • I look forward to going to the Sugar Bowl when I'm in Scottsdale. Old time ice cream parlors are a vanishing breed in the US. There are so few places left where you can get an ice cream soda. That's why I really like this place! There are so many ice cream treats that are not found elsewhere. Plus, as others have pointed out, it's nice to see a place that has withstood the test of time---especially in a high growth area. So many places come and go but the Sugar Bowl remains. Do pay it a visit if you like ice cream! The service is friendly and prompt. Just remember---when you are ready to pay, you don't pay the server, you go to the cash register and pay.
