| - The Grig' set's the standard for "urban" living, I have been here 3 months in August and absolutely love it.
I am not disturbed by a little hallway noise, considering I listen to loud music and play guitar otherwise I do not hear my neighbors what so ever. I have the S5L floorplan which is on the 4th + 5th floor so I have no one above me, it is to my understanding the loft style apartments are all on the top floor. No need for walking up 4 flights of stairs there are elevators here people. Plenty of parking in the 6 story garage, you don't have to call the tow company because someone is parked in your space however it is $50 extra, mine was included as a part of the special they were running. The lightrail is a 2 min walking distance from my apartment, which is great for avoiding DUI's and I guess if you're an ASU student. Everyone is respectful, maintenance is prompt and the staff is curteous, can't beat buying beer from the leasing office either.
The gym is being expanded in 2 weeks, which is an added bonus, it is currently a little small but has all necessary equipment including free weights. I got an incredible special when I moved in but the unit price listed on their website is 929.00, don't let it scare you away from asking about move-in specials. Also, the price is not expensive considering you have new GE appliances with w/d in the unit. Internet and cable ($90) are included in rent, the internet is fast consistently 25mb dl and 100 cable channels. I opted for the $200 utility package which includes electricity, water and sewage. Every apartment has it's own a/c unit of course which are well maintained and keep your place cool without running 15-20 times an hour. There is 1 giant pool in the center of the complex and a basketball court on the roof, enough said.
Compare this place with another non-luxury apartment home and you will see this the Grig' is not very much more but worth every penny. Thanks for reading.
