| - I first checked out Halo when I was considering a tongue piercing a couple of years ago. I was referred there by an acquaintance. The shop was clean, but the folks seemed a bit apathetic. Due to healing time (which I had previously researched - I didn't get so much from the staff then), I elected not to get the piercing. Yesterday, however, I went in on impulse for an industrial. This time, staff (Tish) was friendly, helpful, engaging, and enthusiastic. She inspected the shape of my ear and provided feedback about the piercing, eventually directing me to a consult with the piercer. I then spoke with Frank, who was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful about how ear shape affects an industrial piercing, from everything to appearance to health of healing. There was one appointment before me (as a walk-in), but I was taken back very quickly and received full, detailed information about the piercing. The shop and staff are clearly committed to cleanliness and hygiene, and went above and beyond to be accommodating to answer my questions and alleviate my concerns. Frank was very patient and informative with the piercing, explaining everything he was doing as he did it, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of discomfort as compared to my nose piercing several years ago at a different establishment. Highly recommended!
