  • If you're thinking about Directv - don't do it!!! I used to love DirecTV, but their service and programming gone down hill the past few years. I am shopping for alternatives. For the 3rd year in a row Pac-12 network is not available on DirecTV, very frustrating not to be able to watch your local teams play sports! They seem to have a price hike every year.......and probably the worst thing......is their customer and "repair" service..... I call for service and sometimes get lucky to have a technician that knows what they are doing, but more often than not, it's worse after they leave and takes multiple service calls to get it fixed. Every Time you call they try hard sales pitches to get more money from their customers. I can't tell you how many times they have "disconnected" me during a call, of course they don't call me back, I have to call back and start all over again, first with the extremely lengthy automated phone system that you cannot bypass....then transferred around cause the first person can rarely help.....I don't think I have had a call that has lasted less than an hour with them! I can't wait to move and get a new provider....will never sign up for Directv again! They only get 1 star for Sunday ticket....though it's over priced and frequently has issues with streaming!
