| - I've been here 2 times now and both times have been super happy with the outcome! The stylists are all really friendly and really listen to what you want done to your hair. These are stylists "in-training" so definitely set aside some time when you book because you may be here for a few hours, but well worth the time. There are two phases: phase 1 and phase 2. Phase 1 are the students who are still taking classes while working in the salon (so still learning some) and Phase 2 students are in the honors program, they've completed a certain amount of hours, gone through interviews etc. and they are done with classes, always in the salon working on clients (close to graduation). In both phases, the stylists check in periodically with the lead teacher on the floor, so they are being monitored in case anything does go wrong! I've only booked with Phase 2 since I've had bad experiences elsewhere in the past but I'm sure Phase 1 is just as great! The big plus is that there's a groupon for the school-there's a few options but I always get the 42$ one that includes shampoo, a haircut, a blow-dry, a style, and full highlights, I mean it doesn't get any better than that!! If you have a ton of hair, it may cost you a little more for the highlights, but still worth it in the end. It's cheaper than most places you would go for the same quality! I'm always more than happy and excited to come back here for my next appointment!
