If you love birds, this is the place to visit!
I've been here a few times and it never gets old. The space is not as large as you might think, but there are several exhibits to seen while visiting. The times that I have visited have been busy but not unbearably crowded. The exhibits have always been easy to view and I've not had any problems with seeing everything within the facility. They have a space when you first walk in where you can see into what appears to be a clinic room. On one visit, we actually had the opportunity to see newly hatched chicks that were being housed in this area!
My favorite exhibit's are the Tropical Rainforest and the Wetlands. Getting to see the birds up close and personal is a great experience. The parrot in the rainforest mimics laughter and always makes for a good time! In the wetlands, we had the opportunity to feed the birds flying by during a structured information session. I did not participate in this as it required holding a bug, but the experience was well worth it!
