| - I stopped by this location of Big Fun for the first time to get some stocking stuffers for Christmas. Nice, right? Except I spent most of my time browsing through the seemingly never-ending nooks and crannies of nostalgic items instead of finding little gifts. Whoops.
But that's how it goes when you're inside Big Fun! It's like you turn into a kid again, and I love it! I'll be the girl who leaves with the trickster items like fake puke, mustaches, big sunglasses and old toys. Remember those little parachute men? Yea, those too.
I also love all the Cleveland-centric items, like bumper stickers, cards and vintage t-shirts. I had to keep reminding myself that I was there to shop for others and not for personal presents.
If you've been the the Big Fun on the east side, it's pretty much the same thing on the west. It's just nice to have a little piece of this local shop on both sides of town. The staff was extra nice on this particular visit though. They even threw in extra, free items in our bag for the holidays! Nothing big, just a nice thought and touch--and that goes a long way with me.
Just give Big Fun a looksie if you're doing some holiday shopping. Not only did I find unique gifts, it felt really good to support a local business and I got to be a kid again... even if only for an hour or so.
