| - I always say: The relationship between you and your barber/hairstylist is probably the one that should last a lot longer than the one you have with your lover, haha!
For years, since I've lived here, there are really only maybe 1 or 2 barbers who I trust with everything to "tame the mane." My hair is ridiculously thick and it doesn't grow in a fashion that allows me to keep it long past a week & a half. So for me, it's a huge investment to make sure I always have a barber who is fully capable to give me the right look at all times. Cut Line Studio, and specifically, Chanel, is one of the best in the city at what she does. She's been cutting hair at many different places, but this new space definitely puts her full talents & artistry on display from the moment a customer walks in.
The one thing I really enjoy about this studio is the business' attention to detail to everything. I'm a big sucker for aesthetics in interior design, feng shui .. whatever you want to call it. Her space isn't the largest but it still feels open to me. It's clean, it has the right touch of colors that shines the personality of the barber and her brand. A few shops I've been to just ooze "old fashion" and at times it's good for a specific clientele. With Cut Line, it has a breath of fresh air with an energy that appeals to "millenials" such as myself.
Simply put, I wouldn't want anyone else to touch my hair. Trust me, I've travel across towns from Summerlin to all these locations 15-sometimes 20 minutes away and it's always worth it. If you give Chanel an opportunity to understand what you want, she'll be able to get there even if it's not the first time. She definitely will or get close as possible... and not only that, build upon it every single time you return. Her fades are clean and point. Always constantly evaluating while cutting to ensure it's even. Creative in her approach yet she's also very realistic. Not all hair is trained the same but she will find a look that works best for our unique hair genetics lol! Oh and I forgot to mention she's an absolute sweetheart and totally personable. Super funny once you get to know her and she makes it a comfortable experience.
All in all, I would totally recommend Cut Line Studios & Chanel. She's not just a barber but a true artist with an ability to perform great haircut to the specific person's hair and preference ..You will dig the ambiance, the music that's playing (she customizes the playlist to her appointment!), and not to mention that little refrigerator of goodies :P.
Tips for everyone:
1) When you pull in to the massive shopping plaza at Blue Diamond... It's located inside the "Phenix Salon Suites" between UFC Gym & Kohl. When you walk in, go inside and take a sharp left and it'll lead you down a short maze to her studio.
2) Would also recommend the wash & neck massage as well!
3) Did I already mention... grab a fresh beverage from her goodie fridge? Haha... such a good addition and it really leaves a lasting impression to even walk away with a bottle of water or gatorade after a wondeful haircut.
