I was in between salons and looking for the most cost effective place to fix my not quite right haircut from four months ago. Things that helped make my decision easier were:
1. Website: though not the most sophisticated of layouts, sought sweet redemption in the form of bios on most stylists and portfolios as well.
2. Pricing: The staff stylists, I guess you could say, have this thing that's advertised where new clients get 50% off your first haircut or something. Tiffany, my stylist, rents so her special to new clients is a free haircut with color. The follow up pricing is reasonable as well, $35 for a cut. Discounts offered for referrals; four referrals mean a free haircut. Score!
3. Scheduling: Tiffany handles all her own scheduling...even via text. Texting your hairstylist for an appointment ranks second only to that late-night phone chat thing for those lonely types. I mean, if you're into that sorta thing.
Anyway, I'll wait for my second visit to give five stars. I'm sure that's looming...can't give it all up on the first date, right??
