  • I don't know why the rating for this place is so low, it's really not that bad! After a series of disappointing rentals from hotwire.com, we were pleased to find out that our hotel in the center of the strip and actually very decent. I know it's just an updated version of the Imperial Palace, but it was nice and modern. The staff, most especially they housekeeping crew, was very nice and never failed to greet the guests. The rooms are that small, but they are cozy and were pretty nice for the price point. There is also a lot of restaurants and shops at the promenade right below the hotel rooms. Even though the price we got was decent, we could've received more for what we paid for. I really wish more hotels on the strip would get rid of the parking fee, including this one. I also found it unreasonable for Wi-Fi to be $14 a day and not included in the resort fee. Also, don't go to the pool. It's super small and almost always crowded. Overall, it was a good stay. I am more interested in looking at the other casinos around the strip. But if we ever use Hotwire again, and this is what we get, I wouldn't mind it.
