| - Have come here twice in the last few days and let's just say it's a good thing that all 3 locations (Eastern in Henderson, Lake Mead in northwest & Las Vegas Blvd central strip) are about 30mins away for me or I'd be an every day customer and have to take up a gym membership!
First a quick overview of what they have. They do sell a couple coffee varieties and juices/millks in a cooler for the little ones that plan on eating doughnuts on the spot. They offer a few dozen different varieties of gourmet, very elegantly decorated doughnuts and croughnuts (the newest trend in croissant-doughnut crossover). Prices are $1.00 classic, $1.50 specialty, $2.00 gourmet (think unicorn decorated, etc), and $2.50 croughnut. They offer excellent dozen discounts two (about $5 off per variety in a dozen). They have exciting flavors and designs like the unicorn pink velvet, caramel cheesecake, pb & j, and cereal covered varieties.
All doughnuts are good size so with the sugar overload you will probably be all set eating one at a time unlike generic Dunkin Donuts varieties that are mini size. Both times I came the donuts were super soft and fresh (yes even at 1am!). And people, they are open 24 hours. You cannot beat that!! Get your late night snack fix here!
I first came here at 1:30am this past weekend and while they did not have a few of the most popular gourmet varieties they did have quite a large selection and were furiously making more in the back for the morning rush. The girl who helped us was extremely nice and had a great sense of humor. The perfect blend of professional and friendly and was very patient with us and with it being our first time in the store and having I'm sure too many questions. I can understand how it could be frustrating for customers to ask questions about every single doughnut and she handled it perfectly! When I asked if they had any more of the unicorn doughnut instead of a rude or frustrated "no we're out" she was extremely quick on her feet and answered "oh yes, we do ALWAYS have that one every day made fresh for you every morning. She is a toughy to decorate so she sells out quick but if you want to give us a try at 5, 6 or 7am you will definitely catch her in the store!". Awesome reply! She even provided us with a sample doughnut since it was our first time in the store.
The second time I understood they often sell out of a couple varieties early morning so I ordered online ahead of time the night before. If you want to ensure that your Unicorn doughnut is in fact available they have a great option to order by 8pm the night before for next morning pickup. I arrived 10mins before my requested pickup time today and my doughnuts were ready to go, already packaged and they were sure to use a bigger box so that the "fun" designed ones didn't get ruined by too many in a box. Great job guys!
I however both days did not see one single person tip the baker who helped them. Please people I saw every one of you pay cash and I am sure at least one of you work in a tipping industry. These bakers work HARD all night long spending countless hours decorating your floofy unicorn or pink sprinkles doughnut. At 1:30am the night crew had just about finished baking countless dozens of doughnuts and were preparing to spend the next 4-5 hours just decorating. Please remember this and tip your baker they deserve it and let's keep this local business going! Every single person I watched and listened to was kind, very speedy and did a great job and the prices are excellent for what you get, especially if you buy a whole dozen. I will DEFINITELY be back.
