  • Long time visitors to the area and first time at the Horny Toad. Read all the reviews before going..but sometimes you just need to see experience for ones self. Overall probably a 3 1/2 The 1/2 chicken was fresh, the coating and fry were top notch. Nothing fancy..just well executed and enough for 2 or the next day. The deep fried cod was in a good batter. Could of been a tad flakier..but this was better than most you might get outside of the coasts. The boneless pork with carrots and mash were all very good. Perfect cook on the pork Carrotts tasted fresh and mash was ok Slaw was very good but fries were disappointing and the weak link But hey..the entrees were all above average to good Coleslaw was very good .Fries were the weak part of the meals across the board.
