I'll admit it, I have a control problem when it comes to handmade, bath products. I love buying soaps and lotions that are made by real people using ingredients I can actually pronounce. All Good Things is this kind of place.
We wondered into to inviting shop which is located in the heart of the downtown shopping district and were immediately greeted by one of the owners. She welcomed us and told us that they made almost everything in the store on site and to ask if we had questions.
Rows of amazing soaps were displayed with hand-drawn signage explaining the ingredients and their properties. Generous sized bars are $5 for one and 6 for $25. I fell in love with one that smells of honey and vanilla and is topped with honeycomb. My parter in shopping bought a variety of six different bars for herself and her family.
We also explored the lotions and masks in the side room. There I picked up a dry clay mask (that you mix with water at home) and a body butter. Both are going to be birthday presents for a friend who's moving to a mountain climate soon and will need some skin help.
All Good Things is one of those small business that I'm so glad to see surviving in a mass produced, box store world. The owners know all about their products because they actually make them with their own hands. I cannot wait to use and gift these items. Thank you for creating such wonderful things!
