I would advise caution to any pet owner with a sick pet who needs medication in a timely manner. The process for filing prescriptions at this pharmacy is difficult and their system seems to be disorganized at best. We completed the request for a prescription for our pet early in the day, we never heard back about a pick up time so we called only to be told the prescription was being shipped. This may make sense for a chronic illness when you can order in advance but when your pet has an emergency you don't have time to wait for medications to be shipped. When we called, the person who answered the phone was not sympathetic to our troubles and when we asked if there was any way we could get this medication today they responded by saying that to find the medicine "would be like searching for a needle in a haystack." I think it's safe to say that most pet owners would gladly search a haystack if it means ensuring the wellbeing of their best friend. After pleading with the staff member to help us find a way to get this medicine today to no avail (best case was to wait for a call back which would likely be tomorrow), I asked to speak to with a manager who again informed me of the large volume of prescriptions filled each day. Eventually they were able to fill the prescription before close of business and we were able to get the much needed medication to our pet in need. However, i question why there was any question as to whether the prescription could be filled same day at all if in the end this was the result, why not skip the frustration and help your customers in need.
We were not offered an alternative means to fill this prescription elsewhere or we certainly would have done so.
