  • I would have given this two stars, for the dinginess, the cramped space, the dim lighting, but I came in for one item and actually found someone on the floor who walked me to the aisle I needed. A first!! Another first was discovering that the the item I wanted to buy, for which I had a 50% off coupon, was NOT on sale, so I could actually use the coupon. And since it was priced at $14, that was a deal! But when it came time to check out, that sales clerk was busy sweeping. The manager was standing close to a register inspecting her nails (or maybe her belly button) and not checking out any of the customers waiting in line. It wasn't a terribly long line, but there was only one live register, so we waited. That's customer DISservice. I don't like JoAnn's, won't shop at Hobby Lobby because they don't have an understanding of the U.S. Constitution, and so for me, Michael's is the only game in town. I'm glad I'm not as crafty as I used to be.
