  • I have only flown in and out of here a few times. Security definitely depends on the time and day you fly out on. I flew home on a Tuesday night, and getting through security didn't seem to be that big of a problem. The pick up and drop off the areas can be a bit problematic though, as well as finding these said areas. Trying to find the right exit doors and getting out of the airport itself seemed like a "fear and loathing"-esqe nightmare. I remember having a hard time trying to find where my ride was. Also, food options are limited in the evening. Nothing was open at night, but there were still tons of people flying out on late east-bound red-eye flights. Yet, this airport isn't that bad...you can't hate on an airport with slot machines sprinkled throughout. They also have free wi-fi, which makes almost any wait in the airport not a total dud. Lastly, flying into this airport is a real treat if you have a window seat. The view of the strip as you fly in can make any Vegas hater into a Vegas ok-er.
