Being the only Asian supermarket in the area, I had high hopes. My parents go there all the time and I wanted to go check the place out. Grand Asia consists of a general grocery store (with fresh and packaged produce) as well as a bakery and dine in area. Let me break it down for you.
When you enter the supermarket, the dine in area is to the left. Being the curious eater I am, I had to scope it out. It has a roasted meat area and a hot food area. All the food looked dried up like it has been there for awhile.
Moving on to the fresh produce. Maybe because of the lack of competition, the price for vegetables/fruits were high and the quality was very low. This may seem unfair since I come from New York where Asian supermarkets are being built back to back and there is competitive pricing and amazing quality. Frankly, I was kind of grossed out how they could sell bruised fruits at such high prices. You loop around the store and you find the canned foods (alongside with snacks), fridge section (fish balls and ice cream yummm) and fresh fish and meats. Pretty standard stuff. Before you exit you will be able to feast upon the bakery section. Now their baked goods are not bad but definitely can't compare to New York baked goods.
All in all, being the only Asian supermarket in the area, I would have to come back if the craving hits. Do I want to? No I don't. The service is awful, the place is always a mess and the quality is subpar.
