I find $280 was deducted from my card from holiday inn Express. I paid the $124 on a 3rd party web. What is this bogus charge. I call. Supposedly. I smoked in a non smoking room on the balcony. I'm 33. I don't smoke. THIS IS WHY I REQUESTED A NON SMOKING ROOM. I also have heart failure. I couldn't smoke if I wanted. I'm on the heart transplant list in Tucson U of A and UCSD in San Diego.
I explain this to Vanessa at desk. She transferred me to accounting. They are closed for holiday.
I call back and reach Kimberly in HR accounting. ( Turns out she is the only one working these matters. OMG) . To shorten this up. Kimberly is overwhelmed with work since it's just her. Here is the kicker. It can take UP TO 10BUSINESS DAYS LONGER TO BE REFUNDED ON THE SAME VISA I USED TO CHECK IN.
SO UP TO 3 WEEKS. NOTHING CSN BE DONE, SAYS KIMBERLY. NOT EVEN A FREAKING COUPON.
