| - I called the sunny plumber after discovering a leak under my bathroom sink after just replacing the faucet. First of all, they give you the choice of an arrival window of 9-1 or 1-5 Monday-Friday. Since I work full time 9-5 Monday-Friday, none of these windows are convenient for me. I communicated this to them, but they gave me no other option. I arranged to have my boyfriend at my house during the arrival window to let them in and discuss how to fix this issue while I was at work. After telling them my address several times over the phone and emphasizing the unit number in my condo complex, they called several times while I was in a very important work meeting saying that they did not have my unit number and would most likely need to reschedule since they could not reach me. This was frustrating enough, but it gets worse...
They determined that yes, I have a leaky valve under my sink that needs to be replaced. The part itself costs about $20. I have 4 of these valves, so you would think it would cost about $80 plus labor, so maybe around $200-$250 tops? No. They recommend installing a "water filtration system" because of the minor hard water deposits on the valves. This would cost just over $1,200. What?!? I just want the valves replaced so my sink will stop leaking. Nope. They won't do that.
When I call a plumber, I assume that they will be sending a plumber. These guys were not certified plumbers. They were salesmen trying to sell me a water softener. When they tried to charge me a "service charge" of $50, my boyfriend asked what service they had provided that they were charging for. Their response was, "we performed diagnostics and confirmed that you have a leak under your sink." That's why I called in the first place. I confirmed that myself. What kind of "service" is that??
Absolutely not. If I could give zero stars, I would.
