I'm in the Charlotte area from time to time. Most recently I visited for my sorority's national convention. A few sorors and I decided to go uptown for a little food and parties. We traveled on the Light Rail, which has about 6 or 7 stops. It's so convenient. You can park at any station in the parking garage or lot, which is free and ride. We bought a roundtrip ticket, but after a few stop we realized that no one paid to ride. The Light Rail is clean. The various stops are great because they are all at places that are popular. The most popular stop is the Epicenter. It's used alot to get to basketball games and concerts. It does stop running at 1pm, so not the best decision for late night parties. Overall, I'd use this system of travel in Charlotte often.
