Went there on Sunday for the kickoff of Madison Restaurant Week 3 course $25 Dinner.
We purposely scheduled a very early dinner (6pm) and not surprisingly the place was empty. However, this was not a bad thing. The decor is classy yet relaxed. We liked the chain mail drapes and napkin rings. Waitress was friendly and professional. Only criticism was the weird oldies music - should be changed to more typical dinner music.
Apps were fantastic - a generous portion of juicy and fall-off-the-bone ribs with a spicy slaw and a onion cheddar soup. Wow!
My steak was as grilled and seasoned to perfection and as good as a piece of top sirloin can get. Enjoyed the crisp onion garnish and mashed potatoes. My wife got the pappardelle which I didn't care for, but was an excellent veggie option.
Dessert was amazing. She had the chocolate panna cotta with cherry sauce - either one which was almost too strong by itself, but paired perfectly. I had one of the best pieces of cheesecake I've ever had. Great cream cheese flavor with perfect fluffy texture. Great crust as well.
I would definitely come back. I would love to try the popular salad bar or breakfast buffet!!
