  • I gave Vistek 2 stars, only because I have had mixed experiences with them. Although, it should be noted that the majority of my experiences definately deserve 1 star, but as mentioned previously... it really depends on who you are dealing with at the store. The majority of the Vistek representatives have massive attitude problems. And honestly, I think they know it, but just don't give a big enough crap to do something about it. I am especially refering to the folks that work on "the 3rd floor"... you know what I mean if you've been there! But for all of the grief that I have received either in person or on the phone, there have been an actual number of times that I have gone into the store for things like film, or supplies, and the sales people were quite friendly, and all too happy to assist me --- WTF! Unfortunately I will still have to deal with Vistek in the future, as they have the market on Mamiya equipment, and being that I own a high end Mamiya camera, Vistek is the only place I can have it serviced, or buy parts.
