Finally got to try Ramen Sora this evening and the food is good! I ordered the deluxe shio ramen while the wife tried the miso ramen. We also shared a mini chashu bowl (omg!) which is very tender and perfectly sized for an entree. The ramen broth is very rich and savory, typical Sapporo style (a friend pointed out to me that Sapporo gets tons of snow and people need fatty, heavy stuff when there's a blizzard outside), and the noodles were cooked perfectly firm absorbing the broth's flavor just so. Since I opted for the deluxe, my ramen is lined with extra slices of the tender-buttery chashu (pork belly), a good heaping of nori, negi, bamboo shoots, and half a soft-boiled egg. As an added surprise, we were glad to see a familiar server (Hi Mimi!) from the now closed Brian's Beach Sushi an AYCE we used to frequent. Definitely going back to this joint to try the rest of what the menu has to offer.
