I recently came in with a large group for lunch on a weekday. I wish I could give it a higher review since I like the space, service and large tvs (soccer season). Unfortunately, the consensus around the table was that the food was not good. I had the fish and chips but my fries were not salted and were limp despite being freshly brought out from the kitchen. The fish was passable but the haddock lacked flavor on its own (yeah for tartar sauce!). My friends had the noodle salad and didn't like it, something about the dressing was off. Also, it was strange to see limp noodles mixed into greens. Another friend had the fish sandwich and said it was mushy. The only food endorsement was for the friend chicken burger with coleslaw.
I would come back for drinks, but will skip the food options. There are large tables, so this place is a good choice for group drinks (they had a special on steins for $10 which looked like fun). The service was excellent, efficient and prompt, which was one of the highlights of the meal.
