  • I'm so glad we had the High Roller experience while in Vegas. We opted for the happy half hour experience which includes the ride and an open bar inside the pod. The cost for the nighttime ticket and bar is $52 per person. It's advertised that the pods can hold up to 40 people, but the fifteen or so people in our pod was plenty in my opinion. The wheel takes approximately 30 minutes to make its full revolution, and it never stops moving. You walk on and off the wheel while it's in motion. It moves slow enough that you barely notice it. But don't worry. If you miscalculate your steps and miss the wheel, there's a huge net below to catch you. There are eight monitors inside each pod which show video and track the progress of the wheel by marking the time elapsed and elevation. The views of Vegas from the wheel are spectacular, and the view of the Bellagio fountains are great also. The windows are floor to ceiling so you're able to get great photos. The bartender was also awesome and kept the drinks constantly flowing. Seriously, my hands were never empty. The drinks packed a punch also. I requested a fruity concoction, and the bartender came up with something amazing. I had a total of five drinks in that thirty minutes. Yes, five. I had a major buzz afterwards. But, WooHoo! It was a great experience.
