If I could rate CenturyLink with 0 stars or negative stars I would. I have spent a week trying to get a technician out to my house to install the internet. I've spoken to at least 12 different "customer service" representatives. Each time I call I speak to 4-6 people who keep transferring me back and forth to a different department. No one can seem to figure out if it is tech support or customer care that can help. Meanwhile, I'm caught in the middle of the most frustrating ping pong match I never wanted to play! I've now been paying for internet for 6 days and a giant data bill as I work from home and need to be connected. Yesterday, after 2.5 hours on the phone with them, I finally received confirmation of a work order for the next day between 8am and noon. It's now 12:30pm and I still have not received any word from the technician or company to let me know when they will arrive. We live in a more rural area and CenturyLink is our only option for internet. Otherwise, I would cancel immediately and never use or refer this company again. I have a service industry background and it takes a lot for me to get angry as it is not the service agents fault but the broken company they work for. I have never in my life experienced this level of customer neglect and poor business management.
