So currently going through horrific experience with One Hour Heating and Air. I called Friday to make an appointment and talked to Carolyn. She told me that it was a 79.99 service call fee and that it covered routing maintenance to the unit. I told her we had a home warranty so if there was something wrong, we would be using them. But I was hoping it was just an issue of maintenance. James shows up (very nice guy) and goes through the house. At the end, he tells me I can either pay $219 a pound (need several pounds) of stuff that keeps it cool or pay a $125 diagnostic fee in addition to the $79.99. WRONG. I tell him that no one mentioned that on Friday. He tells me that the company puts it on him to tell me. Apparently, after service call is over. But then he also recommend we get a whole new unit.. I have left voicemails for two managers and this poor guy is sitting in my driveway. He called his supervisor and was told to find out if my home warranty would be covering this. None of their business! Shady company...do not use them. Not sure how this will turn out but I explained to both receptionists and a managers vm that this is horrific customer service. This poor guy can't leave until I pay for something that was never disclosed....which isn't happening. Hopefully, I will be able to post an update with an acceptable solution.
