| - My family shopped at this Rabba store for decades. A few days I went in to buy some groceries with my Visa debit card, and found the slot in the pay terminal to be stuffed with cardboard. I was informed that "sliding cards" would no longer be accepted. I left everything there on the counter. My only alternative to shop at Rabba would be to use the ATM machine every time I needed some money, and incur a $5 charge. No thanks! I informed Rabba via their website email about my displeasure, and they totally ignored me. That's real loyalty to their long-time customers, right? Well, my family won't be shopping at this or any other Rabba ever again. I am walking further and saving tons of money, while having a bigger selection at Metro or Food Basics. I find I do not miss Rabba's high prices, or having to go on an "expedition" to find something on their overcrowded shelves. They also lack such basic items as saltine crackers. I have bought bread there that was moldy. Decades of business meant nothing to Rabba's management, so they can keep all of their food. I estimate that my family spent around $4,000 a year at Rabba. Now we will save money by being forced to go to better and cheaper food stores. In this one sense, I can say, "Thanks, Rabba, for freeing me from your ridiculously high prices!"
