  • I was about to leave a bad rating for this company bc I had a similar bad experience today as others have written in previous reviews about a driver charging $40 for a cab ride from the airport to the strip. If you happen upon a Bulgarian driver from New York don't let yourself get caught up in a conversation bc he's trying to distract you so you don't realize he's circling around the airport and taking the freeway. If this happens to you make sure to take a picture of the cab number. FYI a normal ride from the airport to the strip should cost anywhere from $15 to at most $25. I know uber and lyft is always an option but I like to support taxi companies. The experience with this driver made me never want to get into another cab again. However I called the Desert Cab office and I spoke to Larry who was very understanding and made it clear that he would address my complaint immediately. So thumbs down for the cab driver making Desert Cabs look bad and two thumbs up for Larry for repairing my opinion of the company.
