  • Yes, the gelato at Mia is some of the best around. Yes they let let you have so many "samples" that by the time you get your cone or dish you're practically too stuffed to eat it (but, come on, are we really ever too stuffed for more gelato?). And yes, YES! they whip up a mean coffee to accompany said gelato. But - The best part about Mia is you can buy yourself a couple of fat scoops of this stuff and totally get it past the kids taking tickets at the movie theater. The trick is to act cool like you do this every time (and let's face it, you do) and they won't say a word. So you've spent $3 or $4 on a movie snack that entirely blows overpriced skittles or red vines or oily popcorn to the wall. Not shabby, Mia. Not shabby at all.
