This practice is committing fraud by charging patients an "upfront cash price" for their procedure which is not mentioned until the appointment, AND WILL FILE A CLAIM with your insurance company so they are paid twice for a procedure. I was told false information time and time again starting with the front desk personnel, to the so called "experienced insurance claims rep" named Quinn. At first I was told to ask my insurance for my refund of $222, then 1 month later they tell me they haven't gotten paid from the insurance and I'd have to wait longer. 2 more weeks go by and they took my card number and said they will refund the money and wait 5 business days, I call 8 business days later and was told it had already been done and there was nothing more they can do for me, and to contact my bank. I contact my bank and sure enough they see no pending refunds to my account and it shouldn't take more than 3-5 business days if they in fact did a refund. I have now filed a claim against them with my bank to get my money back as well as United Health Care's fraud department. DO NOT GET ROBBED BY THIS PRACTICE!!!
