rev:text	Never again. I went in to Teavana because I was coming out of Second Cup at Yorkdale mall and I was curious. I tried a great free sample and then they mention that it is a mix of three separate items at the store...okay, that's fine, it's like an outfit. BUT from the time I smell the teas to the time I leave, there is a constant attempt to upsell. The little bags for tea are no good they tell me, they only keep the tea for 5 days--it's not like that at David's teas, so I should have the tin. I say, fine, I'll take the tin. The salesperson said oh, this lid is not good for citrus, the bigger tin is better because citrus expands. I say, no the amount of tea I have is fine and if it expands it should be fine. She says that I can come back to refill it later. I say that's not gonna happen for me. And then when I pay, she makes like I'm a cheapskate when I'm pissed because she keeps trying to upsell and says condescendingly, "sugar isn't as expensive as tea is it?" when she's ringing up my rock sugar sale. I tell her I know sugar doesn't usually cost more than tea, that I usually go to David's tea and say can I have the sugar in the bag please. So when I leave my bill is about $40 for 50 g each of two kinds of tea and about 100g of rock sugar BUT honestly, it's not about the bill. I have paid for more than that for good tea at other places. It's the service and the tone of voice when people are talking to you. I don't know why I didn't walk off and not pay; I think I was just completely stunned. It doesn't matter how good the tea is. I am never going back. And next time I will stick to David's tea where they don't act like snake oil salesmen, they don't condescend and they provide a relaxing atmosphere.
