  • This is an alright place. I had been five stars worthy when it was owned by Camden Property Trust, but in the last six months it has been bought by two different property managements. They're not as bad, they're actually alright, but it had gone from awesomely epic down to just a nice place. The plus side is that it is a tiny property, with only 60 or so apartment units total. This is awesome because then you don't have those huge, sprawling properties which come with a lot of tenant problems. This might be because of it's size as well, since everyone knows everyone, or is at least acquainted with them. The apartments are pretty sizable and nice too, one of the better ones in Las Vegas that I've seen. My wife and I basically said we wouldn't find another apartment again, and the next place we'd get would be our first house. Also a hop, skip and jump away from Boca Park, Red Rock Casino, Red Rock Canyon and a host of other awesome places here in Summerlin. As for the other reviewer's comment on the day laborers, they have never been a problem since we've been here, which has been for two years. They hangout on the corner, since Star Nursery is nearby. They've been nice to everyone, and last time a new day laborer joined up with them, who ended up being a complete jerk off and matched the other reviewers description, they pretty much ended up ousting him and never saw him again. Besides, they hang out on the street, way outside the property, and the property managers all make sure that if any strangers come in, they are stopped and removed. They're not just idle day managers. I'm sure though, if you yell at someone, especially for only "looking" at you every time like the other reviewer mentioned, you'd probably piss someone off. As far is I know living here too, no one elses cars have been vandalized. Coincidence that someone yells at someone else daily and has their car vandalized? Not too hard to figure out how that happened, no matter where you live.
