I will preface this review by saying I didn't actually get to eat here, so I am commenting on the customer service received at the hostess table. Seeing that Charlotte is short on cool places to hangout Uptown for african americans, we decided to try out Delta's We had out of town guest and wanted to show them a good time. We showed up at Delta's on a Friday night around 7:30 thinking we could get seated with out a reservation. We spoke to the hostess and in a condecending tone she preceeded to tell us that we probably couldn't be seated until around 9:30 and anyone knows that on Friday night you need a reservation. We checked the website before we left home, and nowhere on there does it say that you need reservation on weekends! She did say that she could seat us at a table that had a reservation coming in at 8:30, but then we would have to get up when they came in...what kind of mess is that??? I'm sure it's a popular place due to the live music on the weekends, but I won't be back due to the poor customor service received at the hostess table.
